The Valhalla Club

The Valhalla Club is a wargaming club based at Wargames Heaven.

We play most wargames (Flames of War, Warmachine, 40K, Warhammer), are always trying new ones (like Malifaux), as well as RPGs and boardgames. So, pretty much whatever you play, you're welcome to come along.

A Bloodbowl league is just starting (sign up forms available in the shop) and a Warmachine/Hordes league will be starting in a few weeks. Several guys are looking to start RPG groups and will be posting sign up sheets for those.

Yes, there is a cost to all this, but not too much.
Full membership is £25 per year with Part membership at £5 plus £1 per visit.

What does this membership get you?

• Access to the clubroom every day it is open (except for when there is a tournament or event running, when you need a ticket for that event). And it's open from 10am to 10 pm Monday to Thursday, 10am to 6pm Friday & Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sundays;
• First call on tickets for events, tournaments and any special releases in the shop;
• We're applying for a licence which, if successful, will mean adult club members can have a drink when playing.

Full members will also:

• Get a loyalty card. This will be stamped every time you spend a full £10 in the store; when the card is full you will get a 10% on your next purchase; and
• be allowed to bring guests to the club, though this is currently limited to 2 per visit and a maximum of 5 visits per year. Guest will have to pay a £1 fee in the same manner as part members.

There is a Code of Conduct for the club and members will be required to adhere to this. Inappropriate behaviour may result in a suspension or even cancellation of membership.

The clubroom and membership is open to gamers aged 11 and over BUT you must be 13+ to use the clubroom after 6pm.
